FOREWORD

To protect the health of our employees and ensure normal business and property operations, Synergis has set up an Avian Flu Crisis Management Team "AVFCMT" to steer the Avian Flu Crisis Management Plan for managing company-wide response to possible influenza pandemic in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The plan is divided into two parts:

ACTION PLAN AT PREVENTION STAGE

	Arrange vaccination service for those staff who are willing to have flu shot for prevention of influenza
	Provide employees with masks
	Provide employees with thermo-scanner for measuring body temperature
	Direct cleansing contractors to equip with appropriate and sufficient protective equipment
	Invite different authorities and private doctor to deliver seminars to employees in order to strengthen their knowledge of prevention on influenza pandemic and to promote the importance of personal hygiene
	Establish reporting mechanism for illness of employees
	Provide updated avian flu news regularly

ACTION PLAN AT CONTINGENCY STAGE

	Enact clear working instructions and guidelines for staff to follow according to the three-level of response system
	Implement contingency measures for managed properties according to the three-level of response system
